Description

Join the UC Santa Cruz Music Department as they present a special performance of "Anna's Way, From Inspiration to Artistry," a 45-minute musical and visual journey of a young bass prodigy and her rediscovery of the joy of music after lessons with a Tai Chi master. Written by Alan Scofield, this moving story offers a creative approach to how we listen to, learn, and play music. The production features music from China, India, Africa, Brazil, Israel, and America by Tony Osborne, Francois Rabbath, Arvo Part, Astor Piazzolla, Emily Brown, Mary Knysh, Larry Dunlap, Frank Proto, and Andres Martin.
