Description
Bookshop Santa Cruz welcomes writer Annameekee Hesik for a reading, book signing and Q&A session. Annameekee Hesik is a local Santa Cruz High School English teacher who is the author of The You Know Who Girls, a book that follows Abbey Brooks, a Gila High freshman-to-be. After a flirtatious encounter with a female employee at Hot Dog On A Stick, Abbey tries to ignore the weird, happy feeling in her gut, which soon proves as impossible as impossible as avoiding the very insistent and very lesbian players on Gila High's girls' basketball team. Abbey soon discovers that finding out you are means going beyond what other people want you to be.
