Description
Bay Area artist Tamar Assaf traveled to Israel in 2008 to photograph and study any animals that are referred to in the Bible. After two years of research Tamar is ready to showcase a unique, cropped view of various animals from the Old Testament through paintings.The exhibit provides a view into how references to animals and their meanings altered over time and studies the roles animals played in the Bible.
