Café 817 is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of paintings by Andy Levy. Her work ranges from ink line drawings to paintings in a variety of water-based media. She will be showing work from her whimsical Carnival series as well as paintings from her A world of it’s own series, which include colorful still lives as well as scenes from daily life.Andy Levy has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area all her life. Ms. Levy studied art at the University of Berkeley with Margaret Peterson in the 1940’s. She was founder and for many years director of the San Francisco Children's Art Center. She has exhibited recently at galleries in Berkeley and Oakland.
