Description

North Beach Citizens’ 11th annual Spring fundraising event, An Italian Dinner Celebration, will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012, in the basement of the historic Saints Peter and Paul Church on Washington Square. Proceeds from the event directly support the organization’s goal to innovatively address the needs of homeless and low-income citizens in the North Beach neighborhood.

Hosted by Honorary Chair Francis Ford Coppola and Honorary Co-Hosts Jeannette Etheredge and Lawrence Ferlinghetti, An Italian Dinner Celebration will feature a three-course family-style dinner by Rose Pistola, wines by Francis Ford Coppola Presents, and a spectacular event experience created by Jack Morton Worldwide. Mark Buell, President of the Recreation and Park Commission, will lead the program as Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer extraordinaire.

The annual spring fundraising event accounts for 55% of North Beach Citizens’ budget to support the organization’s mission to utilize the talents of the North Beach community to innovatively address the needs of its homeless and low-income citizens through a variety of programs including the Street Beautification Program and the Community Food Pantry. Sponsorships for the dinner range from $1,500 to $25,000 and individual tickets can be purchased for $150.
