Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Ken Burns appears in person to offer a sneak preview of scenes selected from his latest project, The War, a new seven-part, 14-hour series directed and produced by Burns and Lynn Novick. The War interweaves veterans’ accounts of battle and the poignant recollections of their loved ones back home. This special event, moderated by celebrated novelist Thomas Sanchez, is co-sponsored by KQED, the Doc Film Institute at SF State and the Japanese American Historical Society.Admission: $15 General/$12 Students & Seniors
