Cinnamongirl Inc. (CGI) will host its 8th annual fundraiser themed for this year, ‘An Autumn Afternoon with Ms. Judy Smith.’ The event aims to increase awareness of youth mentoring to encourage Bay Area professionals to support the advancements of girls, our daughters. Cinnamongirl strives to attract over 400 Bay Area professionals including local politicians and C-level executives.Attendees will have the opportunity to receive a keynote address from Judy Smith. Ms. Smith is the powerful and successful crisis manager who is the inspiration for ABC TV’s hit drama “Scandal.” She is the founder and President of Smith and Company and has provided counsel for the Iran Contra Affair, the Enron scandal, the prosecution of D.C. Mayor Marion Berry, the LA riots and the Justice Clarence Thomas controversy. She also represented Monica Lewinsky, Senator Larry Craig, actor Wesley Snipes, NFL quarterback Michael Vick, the family of Chandra Levy, and most recently, CIA Director David Petraeus and Paula Deen.
