Description
Two of the most beloved and classic movie musicals of all time, both starring the legendary and amazing Gene Kelly, return to the Stanford Theater.Singing in the Rain is about Don Lockwood, an actor who is always plays the love interest of Lina Lamont. Unfortunately for Don, Lina believes their on-screen romance for real love.
Don and Lina's latest film will be a musical, and while Don has the perfect voice for the songs Lina cannot sing any tune worth singing. The company then decides top dub over her voice with the help of Kathy Selden, an aspiring actress whom Don falls in love with.
An American in Paris is about Jerry Mulligan, a struggling American painter in Paris. He is "discovered" by heiress Milo Roberts, who takes an interest in him more than his art. Jerry does not realize her affections and ends up falling for Lise Bouvier a young French girl already engaged to cabaret singer Henri Baurel.
