Get into the holiday spirit with the Rio Theater as they host An Altared Christmas: The 8th Annual Holiday Extravaganza. Presented by Gail Rich Award recipient Rhan Wilson, An Altared Christmas is an evening of holiday music played entirely in minor keys by twenty of the most talented musicians from Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. There will be performances all of your favorite Christmas tunes, recast in minor keys with lyrics intact, yet telling a completely different story than you are used to. This new Santa Cruz tradition is funny, poignant, hilarious and dark, all at the same time!
