Description
The 17th Annual Almaden Times Classic is a 10K (2 mile) run/walk with proceeds benefiting the Almaden Valley Counseling Service. The course starts and finishes in the Leland High School parking lot and goes along a beautiful paved creek trail and some residential streets. Walkers are welcome. There will be gift certificates for the overall winners and awards three deep in each age division. The entry fee includes a T-shirt, goodie bags, food and drinks. There will also be random prizes based on race numbers.Visit http://www.avcounseling.org for the registration form, the course map, and last year's race results. Online registration closes midnight Wednesday 9/22/10. Day of registration starts at 7:30am. Race numbers and shirts are given on race day, nothing is mailed.
In its 30th year, AVCS is a community-based, non-profit counseling agency committed to meeting the mental health concerns of all ages with an emphasis on youth. AVCS offers a full range of counseling services, which support and promote personal growth, positive family relationships and emotional well-being.
