Description
Combining "trench art" practices of World War I with ideas from the museum's Art and Skills program for World War II GIs, Smith hosts crafting events that reflect on contemporary military conflicts and how we envision our own role in "the war effort." In this iteration: camouflage and extreme weaving. This program is a continuation of Smith's 75th Anniversary Celebration weekend Fancy Work and Arts and Skills Service projects.Part of Allison Smith: SMITHS.
