Description
All Dogs' first release, a split with fellow Columbus, Ohio, punks Slouch, was immediately grabbing. The band's mid-tempo, lo-fi and primitive pop-punk tunes pair well with lead singer Maryn Jones’ ultra-catchy melodies and earnest lyrics. The band's follow-up, a self-titled EP released a few months later, shows growth-with a more nuanced set of songs, reminiscent of the fuzzy alt-rock of Superchunk and Dinosaur Jr. and clearly informed by Green Day and The Muffs. All Dogs plays Chromatic Coffee with the bouncy San Francisco indie-pop-punks Joyride! and lethargic acoustic indie of San Jose band Try The Pie. (AC)
