Once in a while, a band comes around and adds something completely new to cookie-cutter saturated music scene. Alesana is not that band. In fact, they’re quite the opposite. Alesana is a record producer’s wet dream, because the marketing and commercial potential for this band is staggering. They have the right look, the right hair, a plethora of endorsements and the guarantee every pre-pubescent imp trolling the mall will buy it. It boggles the mind how this band has any self-respect in thinking they are any different from the countless other groups that reek of sameness. Move along, folks.
