Description
The 'Adobo' Festival is an annual festivity celebrated by mainstream audiences of people from all walks of life. 'Adobo' is the tagalog translation of marinated pork cooked with garlic, pepper, laurel leaves and a concoction of soy sauce and vinegar. It's a well-known dish in the Filipino community eaten with rice. If the Spanish holds the ' Tamales' Festival, and if there is 'Asparagus' and 'Garlic' Festival, why not 'Adobo' Festival for everyone. This gave birth to the idea of creating the 'Adobo' Festival. As compared with other cultures, Mr. Camins thought of creating a unique festivity for not only Filipino's but gathering varied audiences as well for the annual celebration.
