San Francisco – PTR On Stage is proud to present A Stranger Calls: A Trio of Original Radio Dramas with live Foley sound effects and musical accompaniment by Dogs Playing Poker. Limited engagement December 19 and 20, 2008 at the Climate Theater, 285 Ninth Street in San Francisco. Shows are at 8 p.m.Pacifica Table Readers (PTR) has been providing a venue for development of new theatrical writing since 2000. In 2007 PTR presented its first one-act festival of new works. PTR is excited to break new ground in a long established medium, and take these unique works from the live stage into cyberspace with A Stranger Calls. Three original radio dramas will be performed each evening accompanied by live, on stage Foley sound effects and a live sound track, performed by art music power trio Dogs Playing Poker. Approximate run time is 1.5 hours with no intermission.
