Thursday, December 20: A Special Holiday Caveat Lector Salon, featuring Ivan Arguelles

Celebrate the holidays at the next Caveat Lector Salon, at the ArtInternationale Gallery and Art Lounge, in San Francisco, on Thursday, December 20, when we will feature the ground-breaking work of award-winning Bay Area poet Ivan Arguelles.

Ivan has authored numerous works, notably “That” Goddess, Hapax Legomenon, Madonna Septet, and Comedy, Divine, The (a poem structurally based on Dante’s work). Most recently published are The Death of Stalin: selected early poems, 1978-1989 and A Day in the Sun. Usually linked with the surrealists, Ivan's work has deep roots in the classics as well as modernists such as Pound and Joyce.
