Description

The South Bay Scottish Society is proud to sponsor a Scottish and Celtic Gathering of local professionals and talent. This is to stimulate and sustain an interest in Scottish and Celtic history, traditions, and culture through this event and other social gatherings throughout the year. Open to the public, the SBSS will be serving Hot Dogs, and soda to visitors that wish to join. For those with a sweet tooth, Artisan Candies will attend, with hand crafted, all-natural brittles, toffees, caramels. Moreover, their decadent whiskey cake alone is worth the trip! The afternoon’s entertainment will feature model trains by Diablo Pacific Short Line, live music of local troubadour Peter Daldry and a sword- swinging, long-stick striking, demonstration by Davenriche European Martial Arts. Marshall Cottle Park is not only large, scenic, one of the cleanest parks in San Jose, it is kid and dog friendly as well!
At 5283 Snell Avenue near the corner of Branham Lane.
The event is Free with street parking, County parking $6.00
