Description
As a member of Spacecraft Argentine artist Matilde L. Campbell is presenting her work on Sunday April 22nd at Cellspace where she has completed a two month residency program.Matilde L. Campbell was born in Buenos Aires in 1982. She is a painter, a photographer and a graduate Art Historian from the University of Buenos Aires.
Her exhibition portrays her relationship with the city of San Francisco through a sellection of paintings and digital prints.
The entrance is free.
Campbell studied painting with Carlos Cañás, attended clinics in the studio of Cynthia Kampelmacher and since 2010 she has attended photography workshops given by Alberto Goldenstein, one of the top photographers in Argentina who received his art training in the U.S.A.
Campbell has worked for various institutions including: The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, the American Pavilion of the Venice Biennale in Italy, the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires and the Museum of Latin-American Art of Buenos Aires.
