Description
At the heart of this concert, you’ll hear the pastoral “Quintetto” - by Nino Rota – Oscar-winning Italian composer of The Godfather films and Romeo and Juliet. Nino Rota once said he wanted to “give everyone a moment of happiness. That’s what’s at the heart of my music.” Other musical selections evoke strolling through the Italian countryside, sipping French wine, unrestrained dancing, taking an adventurous sea voyage, or relaxing on the porch watching the stars.Join artistic director Jennifer Cass, harp - with Lars Johannesson, flute - Peter Lemberg, oboe - Susan Brown, viola - and Judith Roberts, cello
