RARE offers insight into the triumphs and challenges both patients and researchers face in the struggle to advance medicine and find cures for rare disease communities.
There will also be a Q&A panel discussion immediately following the film with Heather Kirkwood, one of the clinical trial participants in the film; award-winning filmmakers Maren Grainger-Monsen, MD, and Nicole Newnham; and a Stanford rare disease researcher, Holbrook Kohrt, MD, PhD.
