The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is proud to bring you Free Friday Night Bands on the Beach, with two shows every Friday night on the Boardwalk Bandstand. Each will feature live music from Top 40 bands from the '70s, '80s and early '90s.A Flock of Seagulls returns to the stage along with very special guests, Animotion. Formed in Liverpool by brothers Michael "Mike" Score and Alister "Ali" James Score, A Flock of Seagulls had a string of international hit singles throughout the 1980s, including "I Ran (So Far Away)", "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)" and "The More You Live, the More You Love", and "I Ran (So Far Away)". Animotion is a contemporary of A Flock of Seagulls and are known for their songs, "Obsession", "Let Him Go", "I Engineer" and "Room to Move".
