Season ticket holders for the San Jose Sharks will be given complimentary tickets to a special San Francisco Bulls games planned at the HP Pavilion for Dec. 17.

Due to the ongoing labor disputes between the NHL and NHL Players’ Association, the Shark Tank has been quite as the San Jose Sharks wait for a collective bargaining agreement.

An e-mail will be sent to Sharks season ticket holders before Dec. 12, with directions on how to obtain the complimentary tickets. Free tickets will be given to the general public via ticketmaster.com beginning Dec. 12 at 10 am. HP Pavilion is also allowing free parking to ticket holders for the event on a first-come, first-serve basis in the HP Pavilion-controlled parking lots.

The Dec. 17 game will be replacing the previously scheduled Jan. 16 home game that would’ve been held at The Cow Palace.

A Toys for Tots toy drive will be held during the game at the North and South gates. Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or monetary donation to support less fortunate children. All donors will receive a raffle ticket for prize drawings during the event.

As of now, the NHL has cancelled more than 30 percent of the 2012-13 season, which equates to the first 14 home games. The Sharks started sending out refunds to full season ticket holders on Nov. 30 for each game that has been cancelled so far.
