Santa Cruz CORE Fitness + Rehab is on course to raise over $10,000 to fight hunger. They are partnering with Grind Out Hunger to organize a fundraiser on June 22nd, the first ever Santa Cruz CORE 5k River Run. Santa Cruz CORE and Grind Out Hunger are inviting the community to join the fun scheduled for the 4th Saturday in June by signing up for this 5k River Run along the beautiful San Lorenzo River and fight hunger at the same time. The run is followed by a day of family fun at the Free 1st Annual FAMILY HEALTH EXPO."We have sponsors and vendors from sports gear, health providers, martial arts, bikes, facials, food, live music, face painting, dunk tank, massage, spinal screenings, acupuncture, healthy lifestyle choices, raffle prizes and more at the Family Health Expo," said Jaimi Ellison of Santa Cruz CORE. "Plus, all the raffle ticket proceeds support Grind Out Hunger."
Runners can sign up online for $35 to secure their place in this fun event and benefit Grind Out Hunger.
