Description
Don’t miss the 10th annual old fashioned Independence Day celebration held on Wednesday, July 4th from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the Kevin Moran Park at 12415 Scully Avenue in Saratoga. Everyone is encouraged to decorate bikes, scooters, pets and themselves in red, white and blue. Activities include color guard, patriotic tunes from the McCartysville Volunteer Band, singing, costumed American historical characters, and concludes with a family parade around the park. Free flags and popsicles are given to children. Shade is provided for seniors and the handicapped. This event is free of charge. In preparation for the event, a rehearsal for the McCartysville Band will be held June 30 at 9:30 to 11:00 AM in Wildwood Park (20764 fourth Street) in Saratoga.
