Great Mall, one of the largest premiere shopping and entertainment destinations in Northern California, is set to host 3BALL USA for its first-ever 3x3 basketball tournament. 3BALL, a Bay Area-based organization aimed at promoting the sport of 3x3 basketball through experiential events, is kicking off the outdoor showcase in anticipation of a formal league in 2019. The outdoor event will feature eight elite teams from around the world, each competing for a $50,000 grand prize.The event is open to the public, and attendees will enjoy a performance by streetball legend The Professor, a slam dunk contest, a virtual reality experience, live music, food trucks and more.
