Harkening back to when our space was once an Improv Comedy Club, Biscuits and Blues will be hosting the last night of this hilarious event on Sunday, October 5 at which the winner will be announced. It will be the culmination of an 18-show schedule during which 32 comics battled it out onstage for $15,000 in cash prizes and serious bragging rights, having been chosen from hundreds of applicants.Produced by Anne and Jon fox, this iconic local event has been credited with helping discover the likes of Louis C.K., Ellen DeGeneres, Mark Maron, Patton Oswalt and, of course, the late Robin Williams. Each of the five finalists will offer up their very best 12 to 15 set. They will be judged in the areas of material, stage presence, delivery and technique. The audience will play an important role in determining an all-important "Encore Point."
