Science of the Senses NightLifeSee, smell, hear, taste, and touch the world with heightened awareness as you explore the science of our five senses. Step into the Breathing Wall, an interactive tunnel constructed of recycled plastic bags, which responds to human movement with bio-luminescent light displays and inflatable pockets. Feel, see and hear your heartbeat in interactive art project The Heartbeat Amplifier. Taste the difference a miracle fruit tablet can make in the taste of a sour lemon. Sample tasty treats courtesy of Safeway’s Chef Jeff Anderson. In the planetarium, discover how modern astronomy allows scientists and their instruments to sniff solar wind, and listen in on planets’ magnetic fields. Performance by Silver Swans.
