2nd Annual San Francisco Peacemaker Awards

Join Community Boards, San Francisco's non-profit community resolution center, in celebrating San Francisco visionaries working to make the city a more peaceful place to live.

Over a a 3-course lunch catered by The City Club of San Francisco, we will recognize this year’s award winners (two individuals and an organization) making significant impact in reducing violence and building community in San Francisco.

There will also be a keynote address by the renowned author, mediator, and founder of Mediators Beyond Borders, Kenneth Cloke.

Prior to the luncheon, there will be a morning breakfast and interactive workshop, The Language of Conflict and Conflict Stories, led by Kenneth Cloke. The workshop will explore how to bring interest-based sensibility to the language of conflict and turn hostile debates into appreciative disagreements and dialogues.

Community Boards helps people manage everyday conflicts by addressing disputes before they escalate to violence or property damage, such as conflict between neighbors, roommates, youth, and families, as well as disputes that might lead to litigation. From problems with neighbors, to workplace, business, youth and family disputes, Community Boards' certified neutral mediators help disputants reach solutions that work. Mediation services are offered for extremely low cost, and over 85% of opened cases get resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

There are two ticket levels: Ticket #1) the continental breakfast and Kenneth Cloke workshop + luncheon and awards, or Ticket #2) the luncheon and awards only.

General Public: $125, luncheon & awards only | $175, workshop + luncheon & awards
