This special evening is a tribute to Texas Blues – featuring music from Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, and other Austin 6 String Guitar Heroes.Come celebrate with noted bay area guitar slingers Josh Clark (Tea Leaf Green), Sean Leahy (Sean Leahy Trio), Simon Kurth (Huckle), Ryan Smith (Four Year Bender), Jeff Miller (New Monsoon), Mark Calderon, Daria Johnson (London Street & Four Year Bender) & Cochrane McMillan. Joining this alumni cast of Guitarmageddon will be some surprise special guests, you won’t want to miss this!
This evening will also be the official CD release party for the Sean Leahy Trio. Straight ahead driving rock ‘n’ roll, Sean’s new record "Darkness and Light" has been getting rave reviews from both fans and critics alike. Although Sean is known for his impressive guitar soloing chops, this album really showcases both his songwriting and singing talents.
Kicking off the evening will be Huckle, a new trio on the scene comprised of seasoned touring musicians. With an eclectic sound reminiscent of the John Butler Trio, Ben Harper, and the Black Keys, Huckle’s positive message and unique vibe is sure to entertain!
