2nd Annual Concert "Fun"-Raiser to Aid Japan

FAIRFAX – Art of Giving, the fundraising division of Elsewhere Gallery, will host “2nd Annual “FUN” Raiser Concert to Aid Japan” on Sunday, March 10th 2013, 3-7pm with NPO Marin Artists International Network. The concert will send support and raise awareness of Japan’s 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster; disaster preparedness hand-outs will be available. The event is open to public, featuring live music, poetry, art and refreshments.

The event will feature MC Téniss Balle, the first talking tennis ball to journey across the ocean after the tsunami (as interpreted by Stonefox), a poetry reading by Jack Carter, and live musical performances by Otis Scarecroe, Masaru Koga (of Otonowa) and special guests. Otonowa performed at the 2011 concert and will be visiting Tohoku, Japan this year. Concert will be live-streamed on the internet.
