Crush Collective and Mars Bar brings back the 2nd Annual San Francisco Chili Cook-Off for Charity, where good eats and hot beats come together this Sunday afternoon on the patio from 3-8pm.This year the beneficiary is UNICEF for Haiti Relief where 15 local contestants stir up their fire-alarm best to see who the judges’ as well as the public’s favorite for 2010. Sponsored by Speakeasy IPA beer, 100% of Speakeasy and of ther door donations, plus half of all Mars bar sales, to benefit the charity.
The judges include:
Chef Sean Sullivan from the Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy
Chef Brandon Dubea of Angeline's
Manny (M3) of Triple Crown
Chris Smith of OM Records
as well as last year's champion, Dino Velvet.
There is still time to enter as a contestant before this Friday (email [email protected]).
Your musical chefs TophOne, M3, Sharon Buck, Dino Velvet, and Rob Crush will make sure to soothe the chili flames (or fire them up!) so come cast your vote!
A 5$ minimum donation at the door gets you a nice big belly of chili from San Francisco's Best!
