But Slovenian Luka Sulic and Croatian Stjepan Hauser have attacked the bassy strings with a novel fervor--translating titanic rock and pop hits with their world-renowned skills, honed at music academies with "Royal" in their names. The handsome, charismatic duo had been facing off against each other as they rose through the international cello-savant rankings. But after their cover of "Smooth Criminal" racked up millions of views on YouTube, the pair joined forces.
