Description
This is the Brain Injury Association of California's Sixth Annual Statewide walk, brought to San Jose by the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center's Rehabilitation Research Center."Walk for Brain Injury" is a 1 mile walk created to bring awareness of brain injury patients and their families. The funds raised from this event will help sustain the Brain Injury Association of California and RCC.
In addition to the walk, there will be vendors sharing information and resources, a free BBQ is being provided by the Santa Clara County Firefighters Local 1165. There will be music, carnival games, face painting, and free family portraits provided by The Family Album Project.
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center's Rehabilitation Research Center (RCC): Conducts research to better improve outcomes after TBI. The RCC strives to provide information, education, and support to injured persons and their families.
