Description
The event begins at 9:30am at the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf with registration and a continental breakfast. The Walk begins at 10:30 am and ends around 1:30 pm with music and refreshments back at the Wharf.The 10K route starts at the Wharf and goes all the way up to Natural Bridges State Beach and back. In order to receive an AIDS Walk t-shirt, walkers must raise at least $100 individually or $500 as part of a team with 5 to 20 members.
Proceeds go straight to HIV/AIDS support as well as education and prevention services throughout Santa Cruz County. Participants are highly encouraged to get creative with their outfits this year - we hope to see lots of red and some fabulous costumes!
