Description
The parade begins at City Hall in the Civic Center at 1:00PM and proceeds up Polk to Post Street where they all hang a left. Naturally, it all ends in Japantown at the intersection of Post and Fillmore Streets.The San Francisco Taiko Dojo will keep the parade upbeat with the thundering sound of the taiko, and this year's Queen and her Court will cascade their way to Japantown. Streams of colorful floats will be carrying young women representing Japanese American and other Asian American communities. There will be lots of flowers because, you know, we're good at that sort of thing.
