Take part in the 2009 Tour de Peninsula – an annual day of family fun and recreational bike riding around scenic Coyote Point Park in San Mateo.Highlights include:
• Scenic route options visiting numerous San Mateo County Parks
• Family-friendly activities in Coyote Point Park, which won a gold medal from Bay Area Parent for best playground and recreational area.
• Picnics and barbecuing, free admission to Coyote Point Museum, Magic Mountain playground, bike safety classes, live band entertainment
• Funds raised go to San Mateo County Parks Foundation for projects that restore habitat, promote environmental education, and encourage recreational use of parks.
