More than 5,000 square feet of display space will be open for one of the most diverse Rummage Sales on the Peninsula at the Congregational Church of Belmont.

The paid pre-sale runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, when customers will get first crack at the immense spread with a $10 fee; they will get a $5 coupon for any purchase in return.

Then on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the sale will be open without charge. Proceeds benefit local charities such as Samaritan House and programs within the church. Call 650-593-4547 to make a tax-deductible donation.
