Festival Concert #2. The first half will present the Slammin All-Body Band, KeKeÇa and Celina Kalluk. The second half will be Barbatuques, followed by the premiere of a collaboration between Slammin and Barbatuques.1ST International Body Music Festival at various venues in San Francisco and Oakland from Tuesday, December 2 to Sunday, December 7. Over six days, the festival will feature concerts, workshops, teacher trainings, a lecture-demonstration, a body music open-mic, a family matinee, and in-school assembly programs. The Festival will present body musicians performing traditional and contemporary pieces from the U.S., Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey, Canada’s Arctic, and other popping, stomping, humming corners of the world.
