Description
This Memorial Day, the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, the United Veterans Council of Santa Cruz County and local military and veteran organizations join together at Evergreen Cemetery to commemorate Santa Cruz's 145th Memorial Day Observance. The day's festivities will include keynote speaker Brock McNabb, a re-adjustment counselor for the VA’s Veteran Center program and a combat veteran who served two tours in Iraq, as well as the Mayor of Santa Cruz, Don Lane, will be joined by guest presenters, musicians, and an honor guard from the Defense Language Institute. Free admission.
