Uncorked Wine Festival, San Francisco’s premier wine, food and music gathering, will hold its 11th annual celebration on Saturday, May 7th from 1 – 5 p.m. at the historic Ghirardelli Square and neighboring Beach Street along San Francisco’s northern waterfront.The event will showcase 40+ local wineries, a Lagunitas beer garden and an array of cuisine options. For Uncorked Wine Festival, The Square and Beach Street will be filled with merchants, food vendors, music and lively entertainment. New for 2016, Ghirardelli Square has partnered with PopUpsters, an online marketplace that connects the best local vendors, makers and artisans to opportunities to start, popup, and grow their businesses. A number of local vendors will participate in the festival, offering a diverse lineup of goods for sale.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit local nonprofit, Bay Area Green Tours. Bay Area Green Tours serves as a conduit to solutions for a more sustainable future. They provide educational tours and events that demonstrate the sustainable economy in action, inspire support of local green businesses, and empower people to incorporate environmental responsibility and social justice into their personal and professional lives.
San Francisco magazine will be hosting a VIP lounge will be located on the prestigious Mustard Terrace of the Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghirardelli Square – a Private Residence Club. The terrace is situated above Ghirardelli Square with sweeping views of the bay. VIP ticket holders will gain access to upscale catering by Waxman’s restaurant and will enjoy fabulous fine wines from Deerfield Ranch Winery, Romililly Wines and Orpheus Wines. VIP guests will also be treated to specialty “mock-tails” by ZICO Coconut Water, music by DJ David Rokeach, photo opps by the magazine’s event photographer and special swag bags to take home.
