Kuumbwa Jazz Center is proud to present its 10th Annual Decemberchild Benefit Concert with Tom Savell's Superior Olive Band. This group blends orchestral tenderness with raw primal rock energy, "as if the spirit of Mozart inhabited Ozzie Osbourne and became the front man for Pink Floyd", as the band puts it. The concert promises to take you on a musical trip reminiscent of the Fillmore East of the 1970's with the guitar wizardry and electric violin fireworks of Tom Savell. Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition, helping families of children with life-threatening conditions throughout California.
