Description

Commissioned exclusively by SFJAZZ, the SFJAZZ Collective’s 2009 repertoire will
include new arrangements of the work of legendary pianist McCoy Tyner and
original compositions by Collective members.

The all-star roster includes tenor saxophonist Joe Lovano; alto saxophonist and recent MacArthur “Genius Grant” winner Miguel Zenón; trumpeter Dave Douglas; trombonist Robin Eubanks; pianist Renee Rosnes; bassist Matt Penman; and drummer Eric Harland.

Pre-concert talk on Sunday with members of the SFJAZZ Collective.
