10 in 10! Perspective

Description

With 10 in 10: Perspective, the Tabard Theatre Company has pooled the creativity of the local community, bringing together playwrights, actors and sound engineers to create 10 brand new plays--each of them inspired by a single photo, and each of them running no longer than 10 minutes. The local photographers come from varied backgrounds, including a graduating senior from Los Altos High School, a teacher at Homestead High and a San Jose business owner. The youngest person involved is 10 years old and some of the oldest are in their 70s. According to Tabard's artistic director, the idea behind 10 in 10 was to involve as many points of view as possible. "The perspective brought to us by the playwright may be different than that of the photographer, or the director, and you, the audience." (Nick Veronin)
