Description
San Jose Chamber Orchestra presents the 2nd Annual Young Artist Concert, a comprehensive performance of young musicians and composers. In collaboration with SJSU faculty oboist michael Adduci, the San Jose Chamber Orchestra will be premiering Zephyr Approaches by SJSU graduate student Jason McChristian. The piece will feature award-winning soloists Kenneth Renshaw, first place winner in the Menuhin International Violin Competition in Beijing, in a Bach violin Concerto, as well as Annie Wu, first place winner in the National Flute Association Contest, in a flute Fantasia by Hue. Conducted by Maestro Anthony Quartuccio, the concert will continue with pieces by Phil Young, Edward Elgar and Luigi Boccherini.More Info
