Description
Yiyun Li grew up in Beijing and emigrated to the U.S. in 1996. She is the author of the story collections A Thousand Years of Good Prayers and Gold Boy, Emerald Girl, and the novel The Vagrants. Named by The New Yorker as one of the top 20 writers under 40, Li has received the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award, the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Guardian First Book Award, and the California Book Award, as well as a 2010 MacArthur Foundation Fellowship.More Info
