Celebrate World Oceans Day on Sunday, June 8 at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center! Take a tour of a working marine lab, make an ocean-themed craft, touch a shark, and make an ocean promise to share with the world.Throughout the day, we'll post photos on Twitter and Facebook of visitors (like you!) with your ocean promise––we encourage you to post your own as well. Ocean advocates can also enter our World Oceans Day Instagram contest for a chance to win four free passes to the Seymour Center. To enter, simply take an indoor or outdoor photo of the Seymour Center exhibit that most inspires you to protect our oceans. Post your photo on Instagram with the hashtags: #SeymourCenter and #WorldOceansDay, and tell us why the exhibit inspires you in five words or less. By entering the contest you also earn the chance to have your photo featured on the Seymour Center’s website and Instagram account! We look forward to celebrating our oceans with you!
