When it comes to collecting big names to drop in the EDM world, Holland-based producer Wiwek is doing quite well for himself. The Dutch DJ counts both Diplo and Skrillex as colleagues. He released his Totem EP on Mad Decent back in 2012 and dropped another EP, The Free and Rebellious, on Sonny Moore’s Owsla imprint this past February. The five-song Rebellious features verses from Oakland emcee Lil Debbie and New Orleans bounce pioneer Big Freedia. A mish-mash of roiling trap beats, frenetic dubstep squeals and laid-back tropical tones, Wiwek describes his sound in just two words: "jungle terror."
