It all begins this Thursday! 8pm April the 3rd at Cell Space.The legend of CardBurg the cardboard city is born. !
The Cardboard Institute of Technology has been hard at work for the 2 weeks at the Crucible Gallery inside Cell Space constructing an entire civilization using only cardboard hot glue and the occasional staple.

Join us for an exploration of the rise, corruption, and fall of an entire civilization in only three nights! Bear witness to the game of chance as you explore the city, become its
inhabitants, and help shape its ultimate demise. Three nights of
performance/para-formance encapsulate the entire legacy of CardBurg, the
cardboard city. Participation is inevitable as you are swept up in the chaos
of cardboard MONSTERS, superheroes, and dancing Duck-squatch.
Climb the jagged peaks of the corrugated range!
Journey deep within the active volcano mount Killamoncarboard,
Stroll the streets of down town and uptown.
Cross to the other side of the tracks to experience Cardburgs seedy underbelly.
Play god the cardboard clouds
Give a news report from the anchor desk of channel five's "Eye on cardboard" accompanied by live video feed from network helicopters.
BE PREPARED! Come as your cardboard spirit animal or superhero or
anti-hero, or mythic creature of CardBurg's fabled past. Costumes are
welcome every night, and absolutely necessary for the ©¯End of the Ages©˜
party, closing night.

We will be filming live all night from CardBurg and using our green screen to drop participating members into the cardboard reality.

Inauguration of the city, storytelling, lore and CIT magic. Shadow puppet
Theatre. Free
Thursday - April 10, 8pm "The Corruption" Witness the decline and
Summoning of the great beasts of retribution. Movie making, puppet theatre
And surprises. Free
Friday - April 18, 8pm-til late "End of the Ages" Closing Apocalypse and
Rebirth party, DJs, Superheroes vs. The Monsters etc. Fund-raiser for Cell
Space: Music, drinks, and costume dance party. Apocalypse Puppet Theatre
Performance.
