Dynamic Power Talk Event to Showcase Award-Winning Wines from McBride Sisters Wine Company

Half-Sisters Living Continents Apart Meet Years Later To Discover Each Raised Around Vineyards and Fostering Craft for Winemaking

WHAT: W San Francisco announces the launch of 2017's WHAT SHE SAID series with Robin and Andrea McBride, otherwise known as the McBride Sisters, on Thursday, March 2. WHAT SHE SAID highlights female leaders from the worlds of fashion, music, design, tech and more. This innovative series is a platform for women to reach the next generation of powerful female leaders.

Robin and Andrea are half-Sisters who had not met for the first halves of their lives. Though continents apart, they were both raised around vineyards in newly developing wine regions (Monterey, California, and Marlborough, New Zealand each independently fostering their own appreciation for the craft of winemaking and each unaware of the other. Despite the 7,000 miles that separated them, the McBride Sisters would eventually find their way to each other in 1999. Their story and the proof of the bond that can form over a bottle of wine, is a story they're now telling with the McBride Sisters Collection.

Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certified, the McBride Sisters have been importers, distributors and vintners of award-winning wines for more than 11 years. Their expertise in wine production as well as the business of selling wine comes from grassroots, hands on experience building their brands in the US market. The Sisters will be pouring a selection of wines from the McBride Sisters Collection at the upcoming WHAT SHE SAID event, and will debut their Sparkling Brut Rose which will be available at Kroger, Ralph's and Fred Mayer retailers nationwide.
