A spring concert: 'A Songster's Notebook,' will be presented by Vivace Youth Chorus of San Jose Teen Ensembles on Saturday, May 12th, 2012 at 5pm at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.Led by Artistic Director, Peggy Spool, this Youth Chorus is a choral program for children ages four to eighteen and provides a high quality music program to youth and the community.
The Teen Ensembles practices on Thursday evenings:
6p-8p at Stone Church of Willow Glen, 1937 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose.
Auditions for the Fall Semester of Teen Ensemble for will begin in August.

Youth from throughout the Silicon Valley participate in six choral levels, which offer a balance between vocal training, music theory, and performances. Upper level choirs take part in choral festivals and tours. All choristers gain exposure to various musical genres, from traditional folk to classical, jazz, and contemporary.
Vivace singers have performed throughout the city of San Jose as well as at various choral festivals in states around the country in addition to many local venues, churches, schools, and retirement homes.
